I just came across a new website/tool at http://woorank.com.  It's a website analysis service that is really simple to use, and the free version gives you alot of data about how your nonprofit website is viewed by search engines such as Google.

10 Nonprofit Website Must Haves, 100 Inspirational Websites

Recently I have been having several discussions around the idea of what makes an effective nonprofit website.  This question cannot be answered completely without first understanding the mission and objectives of the NGO, but there are a number of key points that seem to apply to most organizations out there. 

In this posting I will supply you with two things.  1)  a quick check list of "things all NGO sites should have", and 2)  a collection of links to some great NGO websites that can serve as inspiration.

New IT For Change Website

The new IT For Change website is about to be launched.  With the new site our goals were to:

  • Better demonstrate how NGOs can use technology to advance their mission.
  • Give samples of simple functions such as an online marketplace, building online communities, and enabling event registration online.
